March Favourites

Hi Guys,

I now decided, as I finished my Trip-n-City-Week, to start with a new topic I am goinig to do now at the end of every month: My favourites!
Starting with (surprisingly) my March Favourites!
I also placed a picture on the top with my 3 highest ranked things.
My first favourite thing of this month are roses. It is an early spring this year and I also like that summery feeling inside my room as well, and perfect for it are roses. I especially like the white with light pink, as you can see on the picture.
My second favourites are these fudges. I have got three different flavours. I actually bought them already in january, because they are fom Harrod's in London. I really like the salty ones ;)
My third favourites are those light blue sandals from Zara. I just bought them a few days ago and already love them! I was only able to wear them yesterday, 'cause we had a really warm sunny day here in Munich, so I am really looking forward to summer so I can wear them all the time! And because of their colour they match with nearly everything.

Now something that isn't on the picture: I have been in love lately with currant juice! It is so delicious and perfect for the weather right now. I love it when I am really thirsty.
Something else I need to recommend is the new DVD of Catching Fire! I just bought it on saturday and already watched it for 3 times. It is so amazing and Jennifer Lawrence is just perfect as Katniss. So even tho you watched this movie, buy the DVD or Blue-Ray because you won't regret it.

There is one thing left that I need to tell you about. It might sound really weird, because I like beauty stuff a lot and it is kind of the opposite...but I got myself a Pennyboard.
These are Skatebaords, that a slightly smaller and faster and they are made especially for the city.
I thought it would be a way better way to get from A to B with a Pennyboard than with the bus. I think it is perfect fot the summer.

My next Favourites Blog will be at the end of April!

Trip-n-City-Week 3 "Paris"

Hi Guys,

for my third place of my "Trip-n-City-Week" I choose Paris, also known as the city of love.
I think that this city is my favorite one after London.
I have been there a year ago for only 4 days with my mom, but I really loved it there. (btw, it was also a good practice for my french in school)
We were quite lucky that it was pretty warm, even though we went there in december. As we only stayed for 4 days, we kind of did the typical "Tourist-Tour". So, we visited the Eiffel Tower, of course, and Champs-Elysee and other similiar sights.

A really funny story was, that we really wanted to go to the Louvre, but you normally need a whole day for seeing everything, but as we only had about an hour, we kind of rushed into it, ran straight to the Mona Lisa, and left...and if I'm beeing honest, it wasn't even worth it. You could barely see anything 'cause it was so crowded and in my opinion, it wasn't really that impressive. But still, it was pretty cool to see such a famous drawing in reality.

Another thing that I really wanted to do was going to Disneyland. But my mom was soo against it. Quote: "I don't wanna waist time for watching some mice and princess running around." So accordingly, I have to visit Paris again.

For me, I definitly understood why Paris is called the city of love. The whole town is just really really romantic. The houses, the atmosphere, even the light, somehow. I felt like I wanted to hug people and tell them I like them...I don't know it just made me clinging.

Paris has also its negatives sides. There is a huge gap between rich and poor. And it is actually quite scary. On one hand, you see so many rich people, buying way too much at Galery Lafayette, and then, on the other hand you see people, that live in houses that basically look like shacks. For me, it was really sad seeing such a huge difference between those people.

But there is one thing that you have to remember if you want to visit Paris: It is one of the most expensieve cities of all! Food, chlothes, food, living, other things, food, everything is just way more expensieve than anywhere else that I have been yet. So keep that in you mind!

I did enjoy Paris quite a lot, but for me it will never be a place I would want to live. But it is great for a nice trip. And I have to go back, just because there's a Disneyland ;)

Trip-n-City-Week 2 "London"

Hello Guys,

for my second place of my "Trip-n-City-Week" I choose my absoultly favorite city and place of all: London.
I just been there once yet, but it was totally stunning and amazing and I can't even...!
I went there with my best friend. She is a few years elder than me, but we still come along as twins. I really love her.
So, I went with her to London just this january for only 5 days. But this short amount of time was enough to leave me speechless and with the beg to come back as soon as possible.
I think I am just counting the things that impressed me te most:

First of all, and probably the main reason, I love british people. They're just so nice and patient and helpful. And a really huge difference is that englisch people are always calm, even though London is such a big city and people rush everywhere, they always stay calm and wait in their queue. Compared to Munich this is crazy. German people are always hectic and are so easly annoyed.

Second: The city itself. I love this touch London has. I mean, it really is a huge metropolitan, but it is still like a village. You never get the feeling that it is as big as it actually is. I also loved the different styles of the houses and buildings there. On one side it is really fashionable and modern, but then on the other side, there are also those typicial english houses, that look so small and confy and I absolutly adore this!

And thirdly, the weather. I know that a lot of people complain about it. But I like it. It is in a way pretty funny, that if you go into a store and when you get out of it, the weather might completly changed. You never know what comes next...

Then there is one thing left that I just have to tell you about: As I said, we went to London in january and actually we were there for New Year's Eve. We were really excited and had a lot of expactations, but...it kind of wasn't what we wished for. It was way too crowded, we coudn't see barely and it was freaking cold. The fireworks and the music was amazing but I have to admit it looks even better on YouTube.

But all in all, London is my absolutly favorite place in the world, and I might come back in summer for visiting a friend there. I am so looking forward to this!

Trip-n-City-Week 1 "Berlin"

Hi Guys,

so this is my first post about my Trip-n-City-Week. As I already said it will be about places and cities that I've been to or that I wish to visit. I am starting this week with the capital of my home country: Berlin!
I have already been there twice and I am still looking forward going there soon. The first time, I was there with my mom and I was only 12 years old. But I was really impressed, because compared to Munich Berlin is just so much bigger! There live so many people and so many different people, that it was just a complete new experience. I have to admit that this time I didn't really got to know a lot about Berlin's history. (cause there is a lot to know...)
I actually learned way more when I got there the second time: with my school.
It is a tradition in a lot of munich schools, that you visit Berlin for a week in 10th grade.
So my class and I got there for 5 days by bus (the trip was horrible btw) and stayed in a small hostel, wich wasn't too bad. We visited many differnet museums and saw some places, that showed the brutality of the Nazis to that time. Some places we saw were really shocking. For example, we visited a 'cave' underground, next to the metro, where people were hiding when above them the bombs exploded. We saw pictures of young children clinging to their parents and fear wirtten all over their faces.
And being in the place where people had to go in fear of their life was really shocking but also a good way to understand what really happend in our capital and other german cities.
But we didn't only do stuff like that. In the evenings we usually had free time, wich was really nice. As it was summer, it was pretty warm and we just enjoyed ourselves.

So all in all, I really want to go to Berlin again! It is an amazing city, huge and interesting history and the people are some kind of their own.

So sorry!

Hi Guys!

First of all, I am so sorry for not posting lately. But I really have an excuse: Well, actually two.
The first one is, that my grandfather found out he had cancer and he had to be operated immediatly. Luckly, he is already getting better and my whole family is taking care of him.
My second excuse is school! As I am having my A-Levels next year there is way to much to learn and to study at the moment it takes so much time.

But now I am back, and I really hope I will be able to post more from now on!

So, what else happend in the last few weeks?
As I already told you, I am dancing a lot. And last week my dance teacher gave the first solo part of our summer show to me! And I am so excited! But except this...I think nothing really much happend.

There are some stories that I want to share with you, about some trips that I did last year. I am going to tell you about them next week...*Pop* I have an idea!
I think I am going to make a "Trip-n-City-Week! next week. Just telling you about some places I went and share some pictures! (btw: I choose my 3 favorite cities)
Hope you are looking forward as much as I do to this!

Kisses
